Add ons shortly after initial purchase

We added on 300 to 200 at VB before closing on 1st.Added on again before staying on points.Waiting imatiently for Saratoga.

I can't remember when we added onto our OKW membership, it was many years ago.

BUT, last October, we were sailing on the Magic and DH liked the deal that they were offering for VWL. He shocked me by suggesting we do an add-on. (I credit the decision on the Pina Coladas.)

We bought an odd amount, 104 pts. (Equal to one week in a studio during Adventure Season.)

When we got home, we got the paperwork and sent it back in. Within a week, we decided to add on 46 more pts to make it an even 150, so a whole other contract was drawn up.

We're going on another cruise this month. We may have to avoid the Pina Coladas.......

We went on the tour back in 92, and decided against it--well, I was very much opposed to joining. DH kept working on me, and we finally joined in April 98 with 170 pts. By Oct. 98 we had added another 150, andf the following March we added 25 pts, all at BWV. Then I actually stayed at OKW that summer, and I fell in love with it, and have been pushing for pts there ever since! Well, the BCV opened, and we bought 105 pts there, but I still want the OKW pts, so now I'm saving up for that. I think that MIGHT be enough points

6 add-ons in 10 months. We will be in a holding pattern for a while.

Well we joined back in Jan with 150 points. And we are waiting to close on an add on at BCV right now. And we are only 95 days or so away from our FIRST trip home

Of couse it is only 30-something (boy I liked that show, but I digress) days till the wedding, so we are little preoccupied

I bought BCV sight unseen on a hunch that it would be an awsome investment (vacation expense investment)

This was a month before my planned paid for trip to wdw. While down there I visited the BCV construction site and when I returned home called my guide and added on to allow for a choice of one or two trips a year, or a cruise here and there.

We bought 200 BWV pts during our 1999 vacation. Within 6 months (spring 2000) we added on 150 pts because we didn't have enough. Then when BCV started selling this past spring (02)we added an additional 235. Now I just need to figure out how to add 115 at BCV so I have an even amount at both resorts. We only go once a year and like to stay 2 weeks. And of course, once we stayed in a 2-br with teenagers, we can't imagine going to anything smaller.
I am sure at some point I will need to figure out how to divide the points between three children. That might mean another add-on.

We purchased our first contract on 2/2/02. In June of the same year, we closed on contract .007 (fourth contract). We have .007 because we were adding points so fast that some contracts had not yet arrived in the mail, so they just mailed us a new contract. Our first add-on was literally on 2/3/02....the day after our initial purchase!

Gotta love DVC!!!

P.S.- yes, we are considering another add-on!
