Add-on Question

I know I have asked this before, but I can't find the info. Say I did an add on through DVC right now and my use year is March, do I get 2004 points, and do I pay maintenance for the year, or for September forward??

If you get points at one of the sold out resorts (VWL, BCV, BWV, OKW, HH, or Vero), then yes you'd get 2004 points. If you add-on at SSR, things get a little fuzzy. They did hold back points from Phase I for existing members, but I'm not sure how many are left. If you get Phase I SSR, then you'd get 2004 points. If you get points from Phase II SSR, then you wouldn't get any 2004 points, and maybe not any 2005 points, depending on the buildings completion date. If you do do your add-on and are able to get 2004 points, you pay maintenence fees from the day your deposit is charged. We just added on at BWV and we got 2004 points, and our maintenance fees are prorated from the date our deposit was charged.
