My DH and I are going to add on 100 points- we will have the 100 Saratoga Springs developer points to use within a year. We are doing a week at WDW next year in August and then a week on DCL. I will have 111 points in April to use- so should I make my ressie for AKV (our home resort) in September, and then change at my 7 month mark to Saratoga? I wonder if there will be any rooms available- how busy are they in August? Any information would be helpful!! TIA

Don't know if I have this right, you want a SSR room next August and the points have to be used at SSR?

If my statement is true, you shouldn't have any trouble getting a SSR room at 7 months. I don't see how changing from AKV to SSR will help.

If the points can only be used at SSR, does the OP have to wait until 7 mos. to book the SSR ressie?

Yes, all SSR developer points (during recent incentive programs) can only be booked at the 7 month window.

Thanks all- I guess I will have to just wait until 7 months to book at SSR. I hope it's available!!
