I am purchasing SS 100 Feb resale. If I buy another 75 direct and match the UY, can I use all 175 points if needed to trade in for a standard hotel like Disneyland Hotel or even something at WDW?

I know this is not the best use of points, but I'm curious about limitations of resale when combined with a direct contract

No, only the 75 direct points are eligible to trade into the Disney Collection.

Individual contracts have their own rules and qualifications, not the actual memberships. So while a 75-pt direct contract numbered #XXXXXXX.1 will have the ability to trade into the Disney Collection, the resale contract with same UY #XXXXXXX.0 will not. Much in the same way contracts for different properties have their own 11-month window.

Matching the UY groups the multiple contracts into a single membership for ease and simplicity of management.
