Add on incentives?

Can someone confirm this is true? Can you get both the 500.00 Disney rewards AND 500.00 gift card for 100 pt add on?

100+ points at AKV
+ matching developer points
+ $500 disney rewards
+ $500 visa gift card

Hello,

My husband and I added 100 points at AKV last week. We had to give them a $500 deposit and we received the following:

1. 100 points for 2009 at AKV
2. 100 Developer points to be used at SSR by this time in 2009
3. $500 Visa Gift Card

We thought it was a great deal!!

No, we asked about that, but I guess since the opening is not until 2009...we were told no on the 2008 points.

Oh, also we don't have any dues due until our use year of April 2009. That was nice as well.

Did you have to have a Disney Visa to get the 500 bonus? I wasn't offered the 500 unless I had a Disney gift Visa.

Timandlesley - I think the $500 visa gift card is a separate incentive for add-on contracts only. The $500 in reward points is offered from Disney Visa for downpayment on 160points or more (new members and add-ons, I think).

No, we did not have to have the Disney Visa to get this incentive. We are an "add-on". We already owned 160 points at SSR. I don't know what the incentive is for "new" buyers.
