Add-on help/banking question

Hi gang! I'm hoping you can help me as my guide is off today and I don't want to bother a different one. We're currently OKW owners (275 points) and we're on a waitlist for another 50 OKW points. We've been on the waitlist since the first week of June and we're not in a huge hurry to get them. That said, we have a February use year. We were leaning towards adding on somewhere else instead for some variety, but are really happy at OKW.

Now I know if DVC called today with the points, I could bank them all to next year, as it's within the six-month window. But after August, can I only bank half of those points? And in November would it only be 25%? Or can I bank them all as late as November since we have 275 points and the 50 would be less than 25% off the total?

And if these points were at a DVC resort other than OKW does that change matters any?

Lastly, we have a trip planned for January on all borrowed points. If the points come through in Decemember, will they reallocate to put some of the borrowed points back and let us use the new 50 points for January since we can't bank them?

You guys are the greatest so I'm hoping you'll have answers for me again!

Once points are borrowed, or banked, they can NOT be returned to the original Use Year. So the borrowed points would stay in the current year.

Banking is on the total number of points you own, so with 275 and add-on of 50 you would have 325. at 6 months 100% or 325 points can be banked, at 9 months you could bank up to 50% of 325 or 162 points (that assumes you have not banked any points prior) then at 10 months you could bank up to 25% or 81 points. These rules apply to all your add ons, no matter where the home resort. So if you add on 50 at BCV instead of OKW you would have the same banking numbers. Remember bank limits are not additive, that is if you bank half of your points before 6 months, you cannot bank any additional at the 9 and 10 month times, because you have already banked 50% of your points.
