Add-on/cruise question

we are waiting for the points to be released for the 10 and 11 day cruises next sept, so that we can book and get the rebook discount. my question is if we book the cruise and use points borrowed from the next year, then add on points giving us the points from this year and more points next year, can i change to using those points and restore my borrowed points to the next year?

No - borrowing is a final transaction. Once points are borrowed, if they are not used, they will expire at the end of the use year into which they were borrowed.

What you could do in the situation you describe, is bank some of the current year points. Then they will be available to you to use during the next use year. However, if those banked poits are not used during that year, they will expire at the end of the use year into which they were banked. Banking is also a final transaction.
