Add-on costs through Disney?

Does anybody know what the add-on costs per point are through Disney today? We are interested in adding on a small purchase to our existing contract at BCV. Just curious...don't know how serious we are at this point.

Also, any ideas for how long the wait might be?

The waitlist can be very long depending on the use year you want. When I talked to my guide several weeks back Disney had February and one other month in inventory. Then I talked to another DVC member and they were on the waitlist for over a year. From what I remember if you are an existing DVC member you can go on the waitlist by June 30 and lock in the $92 per point. After that I think it is $95. From my understanding by locking in you get the greater of the lock in price or the current price less one roll back. In addition I just got my lastest Disney Visa card and it had a promotion with 0% interest for up to six months for purchases between 6/1 and 12/31/06. I believe that you have to pay in full in January 2007. I could not find any wording on dollar limitations so it is worth asking about. Good luck.

Thanks, good point on the Disney Visa deal too. I hadn't thought about it. We have purchased all of our contracts through resale so I forgot you can charge through Disney (right?). That could buy us a nice meal while we are there I would hope!

Dont forget that I think you still get the 1% Disney dollars. Also if you are on the waitlist and your points come through you can decline them and pay nothing from what I was told.
