Add on at differnt than home??

We own at BWV love it there.
We wish we had bought slighlty more points.
Can we add points at BC or do they need to be at BWV .We are only looking to add on 25-50 points.

Can 25 points be bought from reseller?

You can try to add-on through Disney at any resort, even the "sold out" resorts like VWL, BCV, BWV, OKW, etc but you may have to waitlist for the UY and amount of points you want at these older resorts if Disney doesn't have any points currently available. Finding a 25-point contract through a reseller is difficult, but not impossible. You will probably have to contact a broker and let them know what you are looking for since the smaller contracts often never make it to their website listings before they are snatched up. The smaller contracts also tend to earn a premium since they are in such demand so you will need to look at the costs through Disney vs. resale to see which is better price-wise. On such small contracts the resale closing costs usually eat up any savings you get by going the resale route.

The minimum add-on is 25 points but adding on at a new resort (other than your current home resort) with such a small amount of points can pose some challenges mainly since you will not have enough points to do much with. You will also not be able to combine both sets of points until the 7 month mark. You can try the bank/borrow strategy to get 2 or 3 years worth of points at the add-on resort every 2 or 3 years, but even then 50 or 75 points won't go very far.

If you add-on at your home resort then you are simply increasing your point count and will get the same UY as your original contract.
