25 to add on
50 for financing
100 for MB option

Thsi would be if I added on to our BCV contratct with more BCV points?
What about if we added on at VWL? Same deal, or no?

$84 for BCv and VWl
$89 for SSR

Any comparions to adding on at SSr instead? (Not taking into account the longer contrcat date.)

I didn't think there were pts at VWL to add on.

If you added on from the waitlist they would charge you whatever the price was at that time.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I believe your other figures regarding BCV are correct.

I would add on at BCV unless there happened to be 100 pts left in your use year at VWL then I would probably do that because it sounds like you really love it there.

I think BCV will be $84 until it sells out and only SSR will be $89.

I saw the map today of SSR's location. Not sure if it will work for us. We are confused about what to do, also.

I keep reading that it will be easy to get into SSR with other pts.

We have to ask ourselves if we want the additional 12 yrs or if we will be happy to be done in 2042.

Looks right, but the minimum for MB seems to fluctuate over time.

As far as adding at VWL, I have heard (can not verify), that MB is not offered when adding on from a waitlist. That is really no big deal, because if needed, you could rent out those points.

floridafam, can you pass on the link where you saw the map?
If SSR gets as big as OKW like they claim I woudl think it would be easy to book there at the 7th month window and less, like many have said SSR owners will wnat to stay at the other resorts, too to get closer to the action?
Regardless, that extra contract lenght keeps hitting me on the head.

if you want to add on at BCV then 50 points is fine - but if you are going to add on at VWL then I would go for at least 60 points - so you can stay 5 days in a studio in off season

summer (because of your children) this would be 70 points (14 * 5) - so I would try for VWL but go for at least 70 points.

but as I say - I am sure that a VWL owner would be very happy to trade your BCV points for their VWL points. I don't think you will have any problems. now SS you might.

there is alot of room - it could be bigger than OKW - because of the smaller size villas. It just depends upon how they set it up - like OKW with lots of room between the building - or BWV - one big place.

Since they are making in a bit at a time - then OKW is probably closer - I hope so anyway.

You and I are in the same boat. We do not know whether to add on at BCV or SSR. We keep going back and forth. They are almost out of BCV pts for our use year so that may decide for us.

Yes, the extra 12 yrs would be nice. If any future resorts are built then we would be able to trade to those after 2042, I think.

SSR does look far away from everything and I am concerned about transportation but then I look at the pictures on the member website and really like them.

I wish someone would just make the decision for me.

thanks spiceycat. So do you think it would be simplier to just add on at BCV then and trade out with another member if I ever had problems? Wait...that woudln't work. If I tired at 7 months out and couldn't get into VWl the 11 month window woudl ahve alreayd passed so trading woudln't help. DUH!
You are right, though. We woudl always travel during Christmas, spring break (which doesn't always hit during easter break) or summer cause of our kids. I don't wnat to pull them out. Need to look at the charts...

what you would do is call MS - ask how many studios or 1-bedroom or whatever you want looks at VWL - they will tell you - then if it looks like the time you want will be gone at the 7 month- like at 9 months they tell you we only have 10% left or we only 10 studios left - then you trade - I would think you could get a trade very easily in a week or two at the most.

alot of DVC members will want to go to BCV - it will be very popular!!!

but summer is generally not a bad time - WDW is hot and crowded....however with children you don't have many choices

you might also look at Thanksgiving - some schools are now having that entire week off - you would still get the crowds - but the weather is a lot better. (besides VWL is absolutely loved at this time - WDW is decorated for Christmas - the day after Thanksgiving all the lights come on - it is so breath taking)

I saw a construction entrance at the end of DTD, just before you get to all the off-site accommodations. If I had to guess depending how it actually lays out, would think it could back up to OKW.

So I guess it comes down to where do you like to spend your time. Easy car ride to DTD and MGM.
