I am booked for Oct.21-26 with the 40% off code. We would also like to stay the night of the 19th and 20th but I have checked back everyday and they haven't been available. My discount expires on March 31st. My question is since I already have a ressie with the discount, if those nights come available after the 31st, will I still be able to book them and just add it to my reservation and still get the 40% off those nights since I will just be adding to my reservation and not making a new one? TIA

I booked 8-13 to 8-21 with the 40% off code. I have since been trying to add the 12th. There has been no availability for our room type (AKL Savannah). I was told that I would have to make a NEW reservation by the time the code expires (March 31). HOWEVER, adding a day to an existing reservation, the expiration date does not apply. I believe They told me I have until 7 days before the first day (room only) Hope this helps.

I'm not sure I follow..........They told you that you would have to make a new reservation if it was after March 31st? Yet, they told you that since you would be adding a day that the code expiration doesn't apply? I'm confused. :confused3

Okay, I'll clarify...

If you want to make a new reservation, meaning another trip, it needs to be done before the code expires.

If, like me, you want to add on to an existing reservation, there is no rush. A day added to the beginning or end of the previously booked reservation will receive the same rate.

Now, to be safe, I made a new reservation, for a different room type, for August 12th. If I call and find a Savannah view available for the 12th, I can and it to my existing reservation, and cancel the Pool view reservation for the 12th. This way, no matter what, I was able to use the 40% off for the 12th as well. The pool view qualifies as a new reservation because of the different room type.
