So, thinking ahead to next year...we will have Seasonal Passes (whether we upgrade tickets or not) that we will initiate on May 23rd of this year. When we come back next year, we will plan to stay until May 22nd, the last eligible date of the Seasonal Passes.

The 23rd is my son's birthday and we usually have one year that we hit his birthday and the next we miss, because you can only hit one May 23rd with an AP...but it is usually in the middle of the trip and a moot point. Next year, we will miss by one day and I was wondering if there was anyway to add a day to an AP, without paying full price for a ticket. I am pretty sure the answer is no, but wanted to put the question out there.

If you start your AP on 5/23, your last day you can use it is 5/23 the next year.

That's not true. With both Universal and Disney APs you actually get 366 days on a normal year and 367 in a leap year. May 23rd THROUGH May 23rd.

Also if you register your AP on the universal site it will Display your expiration date - that is the last day you can use it

As others have said you should be fine if you bought it on the 23rd expiration is the 23rd

Well, interesting indeed. I did not know that...been doing the 365 thing for a while. It is not often we start or end on his birthday, like this year, but that might become the new normal...at least for a few more years.

Thanks for making my day.

I have registered in the past, just never noticed that tidbit. More recently, I have just written the expiration date on the passes...guess I have been 1 day off for awhile.
