add extra day by phone or in person?

Hi! I have a 5 day pass already entered into MDE for upcoming 7 day trip, can I just phone in and pay the extra to add a 6th day or do I have to do it at the parks - concerned for fastpasses!

If you bought the ticket directly from Disney, or as part of an upcoming WDW resort package, you can call and ask nicely if they will add a day.
You might be able to upgrade that way.

it was an airmiles reward (not a Canadian resident ticket though) so I guess I'm out of luck
