Add dining while you are there

DS made reservations and added dining. He paid his balance and added memory maker and the price went down never checked his reservation. He is there now and hasn't been able to use his credits. I just checked his MDE account as we are linked (we check in on Friday) and he has no dining attached to his reservation. The cm must have removed it. Any suggestions what he should do. I don't know if he can add it now while he is there.

Do you have documentation anywhere that you had it at one time? You MIGHT be able to talk with guest services and see if they can fix it, but the "rule" is that it must be added at least 72 hrs before check-in. Since you had it and it somehow disappeared, they MAY make an exception.

Just an update. Fortunately he had his original reservation confirmation on his phone. Went to front desk and the cm there couldn't figure out what the other cm did to their reservation. They were charged to add the dining plan back on as they paid for it the first time. They were given the money to cover the QS that they had for dinner as they had the receipt and would have been reimbursed for lunch also but they didn't have a receipt. CM gave them 3 anytime fast passes for today so they are taking DGD (who is 2 and on her first trip and loving it) to see Anna an Elsa.

Great news! And a great reminder to everyone to keep ALL documentation from Disney. They are people and do make mistakes now and again.
