add dining plan 3 days before arrival---how?

You can add dining plan up to 3 days before arrival with AP room-only reservation, right? Can I do that online, or do I have to mess with the long phone rigamaroll.?

Well, after 47 minutes on hold, I finally got through. The CM said sure I could do it online, but he had no idea how. You do have to pay the full amount of the dining plan when ordering it, he said. So I guess I will wait to the 3rd day before arrival, and wait on hold again, to order it and pay. Good luck to all of you on hold to book packages or anything. I fell for you. Do it online if you can.

Yes, CathieArms, it did take that long. I was on hold so long, I posted on here, and you replied, all during the 47 minute hold.

I know what you mean about the rigamaroll . I used to love to call Disney, now I hate it. Hmmm.... maybe that was their plan when they implemented this system - get some of us to stop calling so much . I just refuse to talk to a machine .

Not just that, but since you'll have to convert the reservation into a "package" (room + dining), you'll have to pay for the room at the same time, as you'll be (well) within the 45-day window.
