Add a water park

Not sure if I'm missing something, or misunderstanding something.
We're just finishing up our Disneyworld vacation and noticed something(I think) that seemed odd. To add a one day water park option to our ticket purchase was $60. But the one day ticket at the gate was only $53!?!? Is this correct? We hope to bring the grandkids next year and want to maximize oure Disney dollars.

There is no "one day Water Park option" that can be added to a Magic Your Way ticket.

If you add Water Parks Fun and More to a MYW ticket, the cost is $60
HOWEVER, you will get more than one admission to a Water Park or Disney Quest, etc., with that upgrade.
You need to tell us how many "days" are/were on your MYW ticket when it was new.

I had priced it when we went in June, and it was cheaper to get the Water Parks & More option on an 8 day pass, than to have a 7 day pass and buy 1 day at a water park (in the end, we went to water parks 2 days, and also went to Disney Quest, so it definitely worked out well for us).

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE the PARK HOPPER option on your ticket, the cost to
add the full Water Parks Fun and More upgrade is only $25 per ticket.

If you add WPF&M to a 4-day ticket, you would get 4 separate visits to a Water Park or Disney Quest, etc. per ticket.

Other examples:

If you add WPF&M to a 6-day ticket, you would get 6 separate visits to a Water Park or Disney Quest, etc. per ticket.

If you add WPF&M to a 10-day ticket, you would get 10 separate visits to a Water Park or Disney Quest, etc. per ticket.

and note:

If you add WPF&M to a 1-day ticket, you would get 2 separate visits to a Water Park or Disney Quest, etc. per ticket.
