Actual MK opening time (for those just back or willing to put in 2¢)

I know the official hours say that the Magic Kingdom opens at 9 on non-EMH/EE days. Is this true? I have a PS for CRT at 8:05 on a non-EMH/EE day, but my DS has a PS for her family after 9 am and is guessing that park hours will change next week...Anybody care to offer an opinion? Thanks!

There are often dining options in the park prior to opening (CRT, CP and the new princess breakfast in Epcot that I know of for sure). You have to have your reservation number to get in the park. This is often a popular thread on the transportation board as their is less bus service for preopening meals, but it does exist.
