Activities / Tours Sold Out on Cruise?

So I've been looking at our upcoming cruise and the iteneraries (March 19th) and its showing that many of the excursions are sold out and the simulator for the interactive sports on board the trip is completely sold out. Do they only sell a set number online in advance and then there are more offered on the cruise, or does sold out mean they're gone and no shot once aboard the ship?

I would continue to check the website for what you want. People cancel and move things around all the time. It took me two weeks of checking, but I was able to get our desired Tortola Excursion. I had missed an opportunity to book because the family couldn't make up their minds. It was sold out to the point where it fell off the list entirely. I called DCL and they told me to stalk the website.
I don't believe that they hold back any spots to book once onboard but there is always the possibility of a last minute cancellation.

You can always book the excursions directly with a tour operator. Don't necessarily have to be through Disney. Just beware of return time to ship if not using Disney, they will leave you behind and its up to you to figure the next out.

This is really easy to do and also a money saver and hassle saver from always having to check for a DCL excursion.
