Hi everyone!

I consider myself a Disney veteran but I haven't visited FW since I was a small child. My family will be staying at the GF in November. We get in around 11 am on our arrival day and are not planning to do any parks. I am considering visiting FW! What activities are there to do at the Fort? We have a two year old and infant sons. We are not interested in the Hoop De Doo show for this trip. Also, what would be the fastest route from the GF to FW? Thanks for any info!

FYI You might find more answers on the Camping at Disney World forum.

As for activities:
  • Campfire sing along (marshmallow roasting) and movie
  • Pony rides
  • Wagon rides
  • Trails End restaurant (a buffet) with a playground nearby
To get there either drive (cab, Minnie Van) or take the ferry from MK to the Fort. Driving would be the quickest way.
