Help! We booked 4 nights at BCV in 2010 and would like some help on the activities and recreation at the resort. What costs extra? Which restaurants are best for kids, besides character meals? We don't do buffets b/c it's just too much food. Any thoughts are appreciated! :cloud9:

We really enjoyed the movies on the beach. The movie is free, I think they sell s'mores.

Every afternoon at the pool there are free games and activities, there are free movies on the beach at night, and Stormalong Bay is a an event all by itself.

Beaches and Cream is a fun place to eat, along with Cape May Cafe.

Just a great resort overall, you'll have a great time.

Cape May Cafe is the main restaurant at the Beach Club, but it is a buffet, both for breakfast and dinner. As mentioned before, Beaches and Cream is an option.

You have many other choices nearby at the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin and even at Epcot or Hollywood Studios (which are a walk or boat ride away). Have fun!

Thanks, these all sound fun. I've heard that Storm along Bay is great! Can not wait for the sand bottom. Our boys will love it. :lovestruc

As other have said the movies on the beach are fun and making s,mores at the camp fire is lots of fun (and messy).

Don't forget the Boardwalk! It's just a short walk away, and there are free perfomances most evenings: jugglers, clowns etc. Also, there is a cafe and a casual ice cream shop--a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. I believe BC also offers boat rentats, obviously at a cost.

Since you wish to avoid buffets, Captain's Grille on the YC side might fit the bill. It's open for all three meals. Yachtsman's Steakhouse is open for dinner only.

BTW, the pool games are at SAB not Dune Coves pool at BCV....not sure if that was clear.
