ACTIVE Gift Tag Swap - Due Nov 19th

Not a weird question - I too am stamp challenged. I bought a little to/from stamp at Michaels priced 4.99 used a 40% coupon on it so it was cheap. Since every time I use a stamp pad I get a lovely rectangle around what I was supposed to stamp (the stamp challenged will get what I mean), I tried just dabbing my cat's eye liquid chalk onto the parts of the stamp with the letters and then pressed it straight down and it worked really well (my picture is a few posts back of pooh snowman). I also stole AWMs type of tag on top to do the to/from on both those and the mickey ones I just finished the other day. Have to take a pic of those. It was easy and I'm not stamp phobic anymore!

I so know what you mean about that darn rectangle! I can generally avoid it if I use the dab method also. It's nice to know I'm not the only one challenged.

I went back to see yours. They are darling! Now I know what you mean about the AWM type of tag. V. v. cute.

Hello! MissesDisney is right. I would go to Michaels. They have a lot of stamos to choose from. Plus they always have a ton of $1.00 stamps too which work great. I would also use the special markers that they have for stamps. That way you can color it how you want & they stay wet until you stamp it on the paper. I hope this helps. I'm sure what you will come up with will be beautiful.

On the Disney Christmas tags at the Grand Californian I found the cutest tags with to/from on them. What i was thinking was making a tag and using torn paper for part of it and then attaching the GC tag to it. Does that count? and would that be one or two elements?
They probably have the same tags at the WL but with WL packaging instead of GC packaging!
I think the hotels are cousins, they certainly look enough alike!

Would you be willing to post a prototype? I am having a tough time visualizing this. I think if done right, it could be good. But if you are just putting a store bought to/from tag on a piece of paper, it doesn't seem "home made" enough. KWIM?

Arizona Rita - You are right. The same architect who designed AKL and WL did the layout for GCH. It's crazy walking into all of them since they are so much alike.

Shauna, first time we saw WL it was a surprise because DH and I thought we were looking at GC! And that was at night and outside! We've never seen the inside of WL.

AWM, I know better than to just send stire bought. Thats just the dangle add on with the to/from. I will try to get DH to post for me. It still needs something but not sure what yet.
Non Disney is a bit oversized. Its a red/white/blue theme and its like a pocket and can actually hold a gift card.
Banana is using the Sizzix and has a Christmas cartridge with 3 different shapes, ornament, stocking and light bulb.
For b-day theme so far we have a Mickey head balloon and we used Mickey paper.
We will have these to you on time.
