Quick question....we just purchased FL resident passes and are hoping to avoid delays at the parks by trading in our vouchers for the actual passes at the hotel. The CM on the phone told me that our hotel's front desk "may" be able to do that for us. Not sure if he meant that he doesn't actually know, or that not all hotels can do this. Anyone know? We're staying at the All Star Movies Resort.

Thanks in advance!

I've always had to 'activate' my PAPs and APs at the guest relations of any theme park...unless it's changed to do it at certain WDW resorts, you may have to go to a park....

You have to activate your pass at cusomer services at the entrance to the theme parks. They wouldn't do it at the front desk. Adults need photo ID.

Disney's resorts cannot sell, activate, upgrade to or exchange any annual or seasonal passes. You would have to visit any of the Guest Relations locations at the theme parks or either of the two GR locations at DTD.

and if you don't have the AP @ checkin, they let me check in anyway (we arrived late at night and too late to go to park) and told me to just come by front desk with it to show them when I got it. And actually I forgot to do that, but if you show them your AP voucher it should be alright. I called the hotel and talked to the mgr ahead of time to confirm. have a great trip!
