Activating Magic Key

We purchased our MKs, and planned to activate today. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our trip because my son needs knee surgery. I cancelled all of the reservations that we had queued up, and understand that the year long clock on our MK won't start ticking until we actually use the pass. But my question is...how long do we have to activate the pass? We purchased about 3 weeks ago, and probably won't want to activate it until April or May.

Sorry about the knee surgery. I think you had a year from date of purchase to activate magic keys.
