Activating APs at MK

We were originally going to activate our APs at Downtown Disney the night we arrived, but we have since realized that MK is open from 11-2 for EMHs the night we arrive. If we don't get to MK until 10pm or so, is there any place that we can activate our APs that late at night? We'll be staying at the BWI, so it really wouldn't be convenient to have to do it at the TTC.

The only place to activate AP vouchers at MK is at guest relations all the way to the right before you go thru the turnstiles to enter MK. I'm not sure what hours these windows are open. Maybe someone else here can help with the hours.

We just received our AP vouchers, and it stated that you could activate the voucher at TTC, Epcot, MGM and AK. Nothing about MK itself, but I know in the past I've used guest services at MK. Wonder if it's just a misprint on the paperwork.

No misprint. It's Disney's attempt to cut down on the number of people using the Guest Relations windows outside the MK. Unlike the other parks with ticket windows nearby, MK is strictly a GR only location. At the other parks, you can go to a ticket window. You can't at MK.

BTW, for those that may not know, AP vouchers can be exchanged and AP's can be purchased at any park ticket window, not just at Guest Relations.

OK. So I guess we can't activate them at MK Guest Relations. It kinda stinks, but thanks for the info.

so whats the best way to do this and still be at MK at opening?
I was planning on taking boat directly from WL to MK and being at the rope drop

Whendid this happen? I activated my AP at MK GR window last December and we exchanged my DW's MYW ticket for an AP there in May.

If you are staying at the Boardwalk, just go over to the International Gateway entrance at Epcot before 9:00 PM and activate them there. Not crowded at all and very easy to do. My favorite Guest Relations spot.

What Disney is trying to do is cut down on the number of people doing it there to ease the number of people who use that Guest Relations window every day. So they print on the vouchers that they can be exchanged at the TTC rather than printing that they can be exchanged at MK.

If you notice, the voucher says "at one of the following ticket sales locations". It doesn't say at one of the following Guest Relations locations. They are trying to get you to exchange it at a park ticket booth rather than tying up Guest Relations. But any GR can absolutely still do it.

I'm very interested in Purchasing an Annnual Pass, since I'm in Florida about 6-7 Times A year.

I have activated vouchers at the MK window a couple of times. One time the cm ran into problems with the printer, causing a 15 or 20 minute wait. He then handed me 3 pairs of front of the line passes!

You can purchase an AP at disneyworld.com or over the phone. There's no savings to buy them in advance vs went you get there. If you want to use the new AP Best Rate Room Plan, you would have to purchase it in advance.
