On a recent Ace of Cakes on food network they made a cake for a mystery client. It was the horse cake. Good job but who was the client. My tivo cut off the end of the show so did it ever say?

They never said. Just showed the private jet flying away after they loaded the cake.

I thought I knew the entire episode...only to be left hanging at the end. Disclaimer!!! Not sure if this is who the cake was for, but Bezzie Madden (John Madden's wife) is an accomplished professional rider and perhaps the cake was a surprise for her. I don't know if he has a private plane, but it's as good a guess as any I suppose. If so, hope she enjoyed every bite - and I hope she doesn't have as much trouble in the show ring as her cake horse did!

Interesting guess about John Madden but I kind of doubt he has a private plane since he refuses to fly. Now if the mystery client had sent a tricked-out bus to pick up the cake...

They made it sound like the Ace of Cake employees didn't even know who the cake was going to. So, I don't know how they could have revealed the person at the end of the show.

Yes, that is what they made it sound like. Which I also found annoying.

PUHLEEZE! How did the client pay for the cake? Send cash on the airplane? I don't believe for a second that they didn't know who the client was!
