accounting about a week behind on gift cards

Yes it would make it so much easier if they allowed Online payments :thumbsup2 no matter if your going to use a CC or gift cards.
But who know maybe we'll be able to soon. Thanks for letting me know pixiedust:

I called DVC and was informed the max number of gift cards allowed to apply to dues was 10. I had 12 gift cards, used 10 for dues and saved the other two for a future trip. No big deal.

I agree with the others, it would be ideal to enter the gift cards on line ourselves.

I will bet money that this was a CM who simply did not want to take the time to input more than 10 cards. Is there anything that says you have to pay it all at once? For example, pay $500 with 10 gift cards (the alleged maximum) and then call back the next day and apply the other 2. If their program is only set up to allow 10 at a time, or any other arbitrary number, then why couldn't you just make multiple phone calls?

I "broke the rules" and input my 19 $50 gift cards into a Disney Vacation Account. Then when I called member accounting, I told them I was paying my dues with a gift card and a credit card. I gave her my DVA number as my gift card and my Visa card to pay the remainder. Simple...and no problems.

I can see why they may not want the DVA to be used towards MF's because you get the $20 bonus for every $1000 you deposit. I could care less if they give me the $20 because it only amounts to 2%. It's much better to buy the GC's at Target (5%) or Sam's Club (almost 5%) and "combine" them using the DVA.

I believe you're right - the CM didn't want to go to the effort of processing more than 10 cards. When I questioned the quantity, she was short and it was apparent that she wanted to move on. I suppose I could've called back to use my two remaining gift cards, but it had taken forever to finally speak to a live person. I decided not to pursue it since I was at work.

I faxed in my git card list to accounting last week to pay my dues and noticed they still weren't applied today. So I called to make sure they got my fax (they did), and the person I talked to said they were about a week behind applying gift card faxes.she sounded a little stressed. ..

Can you please give me the fax number? Thanks.

10 gift cards per contract or per transaction? Anyone?

I called today to pay dues on two separate contracts with 9 gift cards, 2 Disney Visa rewards redemption cards, and a credit card. She let me use 7 of the gift cards with the other three forms of payment to pay dues on the first contract. My second contract is titled differently and has a separate membership number so I asked if I could use the remaining 2 gift cards and a credit card for that contract's dues during that phone call. She told me the limit is 10 forms of payment per phone call, so to use my last two gift cards I would have to call back.
