accompanyment to a chili dog

ok which one to have,, dd is cooking supper tonight shes making chili dogs and something,, its a toss up here,, do we have corn chips with bean and cheese dip, or fries? is leaning toward fries but that means i have to cut up potatoes and super vise in kitchen,, ( deep frying is still a supervised operation) shes only 12 and if i let her cut up taters they will end up pealed away to nothing

You can't go wrong with any sort of taters! Of course, McD's fries are the best...except you have to use BBQ sauce, not ketchup!

I would have a salad, heavy on the cukes, tomatoes and carrots. Chili dogs with cheese are super yummy, but not exactly health food, LOL.

hmm think there may be a salad already in fridge,, but dw is off in oklahoma and on a float trip today , sooo we are not realy interested in a really healty meal

this is definately her mothers daughter,, mom doesnt like to cook, is a very set in her ways( no experimentation on her part at all) i'm the chief cookaround here, i love it. and i dread the day i have to try and really teach this kid that can burn water to cook anything that requires skill she can barely handle hot dogs and chili from a can,,,


beans... Noooo this kids one really gaseous young lady she almost translucent she has so much gas all the time,, nooo way i would combine beans and chili dogs..lol

thinking seriously about skin on deep fried steak fries sized taters,, instead of chopped up small french fries .

Onion rings are good with chili dogs but they're a lot of trouble unless you use the frozen. I like baked beans too but I can see the problem.

Make it easy and go for the chips. Or make chili pie if you have some left over chili.

dd got lucky,, best friend came over and broughthis son as well,, t hey ended up on neopets goofing off and russ and i cooked,, we did the skin on steak fries,, in a garlic infused oil for extra flavor was really good too

Glad it turned out good. The only accompaniment I could think of for a chili dog is Rolaids, lol. I avoid hot dogs and especially chili dogs like the plague!
