Accommodations for FurBabies

Have any of you taken your pets on vacation to WDW? And if so, what accommodations do y'all make for them while there? For example, what hotels or resorts would any of you recommend? I know about the pet care facility by POR. I was just wondering if anyone used other hotels or resorts near by or maybe even a vacation rental home? Most rental vacation homes I've researched do not allow pets.

It's an old sticky thread ... It's why I'm asking. Wasn't too sure if that info would still be accurate.

We always take our furbaby with us. We used to use the old kennels at WDW. Haven't used the new one. We have stayed at Motel 6 and La Quinta. Neither of them charge for the pet and can stay in the room and not be crated. One year we rented a house through VRBO Our next trip is going to be in December and we are pulling our camper so she will be at "home." Hope that you find the perfect place for you and your baby.

Thank you! Wish I had a camper! lol Maybe in the future ... Might have to invest in one?! Looks like we might have to try harder to find a rental home or go with La Quinta. I don't really want to crate him. Thanks a bunch! And YAY for your upcoming trip!!!
