Accommodation issues Candy Cane Inn

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if the Premium Rooms at Candy Cane Inn are actually large enough for a roll away bed? We stayed in a Deluxe room this year, and honestly, it was too small for 3 of us, let alone a child in a roll away. I loved the shuttle and the breakfast, but with an extra teenager am thinking I'd have to go back to HoJo for their rooms (even the standard ones are twice as big as the Deluxe Candy Cane ones!) Has anyone had a Premium room with a roll away bed there that can tell me whether it actually works??

I know nothing about the Candy Cane. But we tried the Ramada Maingate at the Park just this week and loved it. We had a deluxe room - large, clean and recently refurbished. They provide free roll aways and wifi. The pool area was nice - heated pool, splash zone with a variety of fixtures (though these were unheated, kids didn't seem to care), jacuzzi. The hotel is only I think 3 away from the crosswalk. The continental breakfast is simple but we enjoyed the toasted bagels, fruit and juice before heading into the park. The hotel is building a new structure in the front on Harbor so there is no lobby - just a construction trailer set up for check in/out and guest services. Definitely not a dealbreaker for us. It might be an option for you if the Candy Cane rooms are too small for your party. Their rates are certainly great enough.

Hi again. That struck me as so odd that I checked it out myself for random dates in April. Nope, nada. Then I went to the hotel's actual website (instead of the general Ramada site that came up in my Google search) and it says this:

Booking past Dec 31st, 2015?

CALL 1-800-854-6097 TO MAKE A RESERVATION

I suspect their booking system is only set up for the year. You might give it a try if you are still looking around.

***FYI if you do call and it is a general Ramada number, not the hotel's actual number, be sure you ask about Ramada Maingate at the Park. There is another Ramada Maingate nearby - it is not at the park lol.
