Hello! I'm new to the boards and was wondering about accessible rooms at Port Orleans. We have booked a room at Riverside for 5 guests and requested a room with a roll-in shower. Will this be available? Also, will there be enough room for transfers with the trundle bed? Thanks in advance.

In the past I've known someone who given 2 rooms because they only had King acessible roomsand they had 4 people. I'm not sure if that is normal procedure but they weren't charged extra. Did you talk to any of the medical people they can put you through to to make sure? I think with the trundle it would be tight but you could always transfer first and then pull out the trundle. They are rehabbing and putting in 2 queens so that would make things even tighter if you had a rehabbed room. WHen I had medical needs for my rooms 1 trip I used a travel agent and it was so much easier and things went perfectly. Even if you already made the reservation you can transfer it to an agent. I used one that specializes in WDW. There are a few who really know their stuff like Small WOrld and the Mouse for Less.
