I’m going to be renting an ECV from Gold’s Mobility. I saw someone post in another thread that their ECV did not fit on the Minnie Van but it was unclear whether they meant the regular vans or the accessible van. Im renting the Pride Victory 10 3-wheel, will this be able to go on the accessible van?

Also, how late do the accessible vans operate? Im going to Jollywood Nights and probably won’t be leaving till around 1am. Will I still be able to get one that late? I’ll be on my own and don’t want to take the bus.

Thanks! ☺️

I don't know which ECV that poster rented, but I do know the company it was rented from had some oversized ECVs in the past.
The Pride Victory 10 is well within the size specifications of 36 inches wide by 52 inches long
Pride Victory 10 = Length 45.25 inches and width 22.25

Thank you, I was pretty sure it would be ok but was a little nervous so thought I would double check with y’all.

We rented from Walker last year and had no issues with the accessible Minnie vans. We plan on using them again to get to a lot of our breakfast reservations.

Did you have long waits when requesting an accessible Minnie Van? I'm thinking of using one for Hoop Dee Doo Revue, both going & coming home.

I have had times where I couldn’t get one at all so you need a backup plan. There is always at least 1 running, usual there are a couple. If their ride queues are full you’ll wait like 10 mins and be told no one is available. I was told by MV CMs they were adding some more accessible vans so that will help a bit.

I think the longest we waited was 40 mins, shortest a couple mins, average about 15-20. The occasions I have not been able to get one were usually peak demand like park close.

All of the scooters that Gold Mobility rents fit into the Accessible Minnie Vans, even the Pride Maxima and on the ones that can accommodate two mobility scooters, two Pride Maximas do fit. Although it should be noted that you have to be very carefully getting on the lift so you don’t trigger the safety sensors, as the Maxima just barely fits on the platform.
