I have two questions I hope someone could help me with. Does anyone know if the Magic Kingdom still have a special area for people with disabilities for firework viewing? The last time we were at the magic kingdom was May 2021 and fireworks were not back yet. This was before Genie+ as well. Which bring me to my next question. When we were at the MK in MAY 2021 we had a DAS pass but instead of giving us a DAS return time, Space Mountain gave us a wheelchair return time which was different from the DAS return time. I should say the person in the wheelchair is not the same person who had the DAS pass. Does anyone know if they still doing this? Thank you

Yes there is a area for disability

Yes space give return time to people in wheelchair

WDW has given wheelchair Return times for Space Mountain for a long time for guests using wheelchairs. They are a separate thing from DAS and guests with wheelchairs who are registered for DAS might also be issued one.
If there is no one else waiting, they might direct the wheelchair party to go right in. But, space is limited, so they use wheelchair Return times for anyone using a wheelchair.
other attractions that use them include Small World, Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder Mountain RR.

The park maps for Guests with Disabilities have wheelchair/accessible fireworks viewing spots marked. See screenshot of map. Depending on the day, they may be very crowded and/or fill quickly.
Mobility devices are usually parks close together across the front of the area, with a spot or 2 for the party Right behind and the rest of the group farther back.

Where are the park maps for guests with disabilities? I've looked in the kiosks where park maps are (regular and different languages), but I've never seen a map for guests with disabilities.

My family just got back and I did pick up maps from the kiosks at the entrance to each park. The slot for them is marked with a blue wheelchair symbol.
The maps themselves used to have a black strip on the top, which made them stand out a bit more. I noticed the last ones had a grey border and don’t stand out as much. People also often take more maps than they need and put the ‘extra’ ones in front.

You can get them from Guest Relations and I think also the Guest Experience umbrellas in the parks - I haven’t seen them there, but have seen people walking away holding a map.
You can also download a digital copy of the map here on the WDW Disability Services webpage. The link to each parks‘ map is about 1/2 of the way down the page.
