Accessable rooms at BWV

In and earlier post I read that there are no "handicapped" STUDIOS at the Boardwalk Villas in the Standard View category. This is fine with me because my "handicapped" daughter really needs a tub and we don't require any extra space.

However, we might be traveling with relatives that do need an accessable studio. They only want to pay for a standard view - will they need to upgrade to a preferred view or will they get an accessable view at the standard room points rate?

And, if so - what are the chances that our two studios could be close together?

This is a question best answered by MS.

I would be surprised if there are no SV accessible studios, but even then, there may be none available when you call.

As for how close they would be, you can make a request that they be close together, but no requests can be guaranteed.

I don't know if there are HC rooms in the standard view category or not. I am certain that DVC will not discount the room just because that's what they want or it's not available in the category they want. Since HC rooms are actually reserved, it is very unlikely they'd receive an upgrade at the front desk to accomodate a non reserved request.
