I have a Fantasmic seating related question for Disneyland, hopefully someone can help.

My twins both have CP and will be in a double stroller for our trip(because we didn't want to pack DD's walker and DS's customized stroller). We will be obtaining a Guest Assistance Pass so that we can utilize the handicap entrances and seating for shows..

My question is, does anyone have any experience with the handicap seating area for Fantasmic? How early would we have to line up for it? Would it be as bad as for 'regular' seating?

And also, does anyone know of a special area for handicap to view the parades?

Welcome to disABILITIES.

With a Guest Assistance Card (GAC) or a special sticker that allows a stroller to be used a wheelchair, you will be able to bring the stroller into attractions and have it treated the same as a wheelchair. There are some attractions that have a wheelchair accessible ride car; your stroller will not fit on those. When you go to Guest Relations to request a GAC or sticker, you can also get a Guidebook for Guests with disabilities. There is one for each park and they list the entrance you should use to access each attraction.
Also, there may be shows where you can park the stroller in the accessible seating area, but you will want to hold your children or have them sit in attraction seats since the stroller will likely be too low for them to sit in and see. There is more information about GACs in post #6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread - it is about WDW, but Disneyland works generally the same. Because DL is older, more of the attractions have special handicapped entrances than at WDW.

For Fantasmic, the short answer is that there is wheelchair viewing area. How quickly it fills varies from night to night, depending on how many people with special needs are there.

There are viewing areas for parades, which are listed on the park maps. These are basically roped off areas of the regular viewing area, but allow a wheelchair/ECV/stroller as wheelchair to be parked along the curb without having to worry about other guests getting in your way or in front of you/
It's late and I am falling asleep, so I will write more tomorrow unless someone else has added that information.

This is already helpful!! Thank-you! If you have more info, please share!!!
