Access to OKW without a ressie..

We will being staying off-site in May for a portion of our trip and will be meeting some friends. Are we allowed to visit OKW to show the place off to them by showing our membership card ?

We bought sight unseen on the cruise last year. When we got back and were staying onsite but not with the DVC we went over explained it to them and they were even showed us a studio and 1 br. I'm not sure if this is the norm but it wouldn't hurt to ask all they could do is say no. At the very least you could at least show them the outside property.

It's no problem, IF your stopped at the gate, just explain what your doing and it will be fine.

We own at BWV and have stayed there most of the time. However, I love to check out the general store at OKW. Just show your DVC card at the gate - the guard will wave you right through. Never have had a problem!

If you go to the desk, you can ask if you could show your guests a room. As long as they have one clean (and empty), they will usually be able to meet this request. Enjoy!

(I wouldn't go at a busy time...like 4PM- maybe 1PM would work well!)
