Well, I have been talking about going to WDW with my girlfriend - and I just proposed! So now, our trip will be a Honeymoon combined with a cruise (unfortunately likely not a DCL :guilty:). I know the 180 mark isn't here yet (thank God) - I feel like I'm way behind on planning.

Any thoughts?

We'll do a Deluxe (likely Wilderness Lodge - it feels right somehow), particularly given our road trips and national park love. We'll either do the Dining plan or Deluxe - I wish we could do the Platinum/Premium for the whole trip but (1) it would be too much especially given that (2) I got a 40% code recently.

We may do the 1-night platinum thing, do some tours, massages, La Nouba, nice dining. She's not hugely into WDW or Theme Parks, but there's enough of interest that this part of the honeymoon will be fun. And then there's the cruise to look forward to (which I've never done before).

Anyway - any thoughts, suggestions?

I don't think you're behind! For the cruise portion of your trip you should check out the cruise critic website and message boards. They were so helpful when I was trying to pick out and plan our first cruise. We did a Carnival cruise because of the itinerary (southern carribean, new port each day) and the price. I think Disney is really overpriced, but I would still like to do one of their cruises some day.

There are so many fun things to do at Disney without touring a park all day. Like mini golf, parasailing, etc. I would just start reading the dining boards to start figuring out where all you want to eat. Have fun planning!
