Acapulco cliff divers (on our own)

I know I read somewhere about people going to the restaurant on their own and seeing the cliff divers. Can't remember the name of restaurant, how to get there, price, ..... If someone could please help me out. Thanks.

The name of the restaurant is La Perla...you can not eat there during the show since it is usually booked with people taking ship excursions.

They do have a viewing area where you can pay $12 per person..this is perfect, gives you shade, a chair, two free drinks per person and a great view of the divers.

Just grab a cab, tell the diver you want to go to the cliff divers, set the price and you are good to go. There are plenty of cabs waiting to take you back when you are done.

Think the ride was about $12.00
(not far from the ship) .. cab driver will wait to take you back to the ship...


and $3.00 to get into the viewing area. and that included one drink..bottled non alcoholic.
