Academy for Heroes RP!

Posey: She got up and walked with her to the dorms. "I'm assuming you're new?" she asked shyly.
Jennifer: She followed after her. Jennifer nodded. "Yes," she said. "I didn't even know I'd be coming here until last Thursday. I didn't have time to come here and tour the grounds or even meet the headmaster or anything." She wished more than anything that she could be back home, even at some public school, anywhere but here. Sure, she was sure the facilities and such of the academy were nice, but being forced to come made the place seem like a looming prison disguised as a super school on a beach.

Posey: "Don't worry, it's really not bad."

OOC: Could your shadow character(I can't remember his name lol) run into Betty, Cindy?

Betty: she walked around the beach, beginning to warm up.

Jennifer: She snorted. "Maybe. But were you forced by the government to come here because you caused too much chaos and were a danger to people?"

Posey: "Yes, I was," she said quietly.

OOC: Yep

Mark: He'd been, in a way, lurking around, watching the students, not ready for his summer enjoyment to be quite over yet with school, but he also enjoyed going to the school. He was walking around as his un-solid shadow self, a silhouette, pausing every few moments to take in someone who wasn't paying much attention's shadow energy. Staring at the ground, he didn't even notice as he plowed into another girl. Or, would have, had he been solid. Instead, he sort of walked through her. His shadow form flickered, then disappeared as he morphed back into his human self. He turned to the girl. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention. That can't feel good, having a shadow walk through you..."
Posey: "Yes, I was," she said quietly.

Jennifer: She raised an eyebrow. She shrugged at the ground. "Well, then, I'm shocked to hear that it's 'really not bad' from you. I just wish I could go back to a normal public school." As she began to lose focus, her suitcase began to hover slightly.

Betty: he had startled her. "It's fine, it just felt like a chilly breeze. I'm Betty, by the way. What's your name?"

Posey: "It is like a public school, there's just much less of a chance that people will die in a fiery ball of death that came out of your mouth when you sneezed."

Betty: he had startled her. "It's fine, it just felt like a chilly breeze. I'm Betty, by the way. What's your name?"
Mark: "That didn't bug you? I'm Mark." He flickered to his shadow form and back. "You can pretty much figure me out. Sorry again for walking through you." He smiled. "That's gotta be the weirdest thing I've ever said."

Posey: "It is like a public school, there's just much less of a chance that people will die in a fiery ball of death that came out of your mouth when you sneezed."
Jennifer: Oh, wow. She'd caused severe injuries, but as far as she was concerned, nobody had died because of her. Now she felt like a mopey jerk. She forced herself to look up, seeing the girl for the first time. She looked her in the eye. "I'm sorry," she said. "I've just..." She shrugged, and dropped her gaze once more. "Had a rough week."

OOC: Hey guys, I know I've not been a big presence as far as talking to people goes, but did I miss anything extremely important or something said to my characters?

OOC: Nope, not that I'm aware of, most of this has been chatting between Rocky, Ronnie (I think that's her name, blanking out) and Arachne. I brought in Mark and Jennifer, otherwise nothing's happened

Betty: she smiled at him. "I'm constantly cold, so no, not really. It's no big deal." She pulled off a glove and made a few snowflakes float off of her palm. "I can control ice and stuff like that."

Posey: "It's alright. First few weeks are the worst for the newbies, it does seem like a prison until you get used to it. Trust me, I know. When I got here I refused to talk to anyone because one, I'm really shy, and two, I didn't want any more death.0

Mark: "That's cool. As you can probably tell, I can control- and turn into- shadows." He bent over to the ground, fingering Betty's shadow. Then he lifted it, like it was underwater. It became a 3-D figure next to him, staying like that for a few seconds, then dissolving and returning to its original 2-D position. "I've been working on that. Still need some practice."

Jennifer: "Well, I'm cool with talking to people. It's looking at them that I'm afraid of. I just glanced at a semi-truck out the backseat window, and next I know there's a four car pile-up accident."

Posey: "What exactly is your power?"

Posey: "What exactly is your power?"
Jennifer: "I can affect my- and other's- gravitational pull. And have about zero control over it. So, if I'm being lazy and looking at a car, for instance, and it's gravity is randomly lessened, it causes big problem. I've made classrooms zero gravity, it looked like everything was upside-down." But nothing was upside-down in zero gravity. From long experience, Jennifer knew exactly how to maneuver without a gravitational pull. Wherever you wanted to reach must be considered down. Then you instantly want to go there.

OOC: Got that last bit from Ender's Game XD Makes sense though

OOC: Loved that book so much! I saw the movie with my ex on a date, so I wasn't exactly focused on the movie.

Posey: "Interesting. If you can't tell I control fire."
