Academy for Heroes RP!

Spencer: He thought back to his time at the doctor's office when he was younger. His adoptive parents thought that they would be able to cure him. That poor doctor never knew what hit him. He thought back to when the doctor touched his hands and the poison came out. His "mother" and "father" were screaming bloody murder. That was when his "parents" and he had to come up with an excuse to the emergancy room. The doctor was alright now, but he wouldn't get out of therapy until he was sixty.
Spencer didn't mean to hurt anyone. He was just a dumb little kid. Spencer thought back to his school days, which weren't exactly fun memories either. His "family" decided to homeschool him, in case he blew it, or in case he couldn't keep it together. He didn't want to remember his childhood, it was all too painful to remember.

ooc: :(

OOC: Ditto.

Richard: He arrived to the academy a little late, having gotten caught in traffic and then having his parents give too long of goodbyes. Now he arrived halfway through the annual picnic lunch, and everyone seemed a little shaken up. So he walked over to someone (OOC: Anyone) and asked, "What's going on? What happened?"

Marcella: "Some dude lost control of his poison powers. Think it was a rookie."

Richard: He frowned. "Is everyone okay?" He was almost glad he didn't have powers- they couldn't go completely out of control. He never had that problem with his suit.

Marcella: "Yeah, some water girl watered down the poison and Shard made glass bottles, bottled it up and sealed it so no one's hurt."

Ally: "Well, I have little to no self confidence, so-" She stopped. "Darn. I just said that out loud. Well, I like my powers, I'm just afraid I'm gonna blow up a pool or pipe system again. Which totally hasn't happened one two or four times."

Scarlet: "You wanna know the secret to powers that I discovered winter holidays of my first year here? It's all about making a choice, the most important choice: are you going to let your powers rule you or are you going to rule your powers? After I made the decision that I wasn't going to let my power dominate me, it got so much easier to control."

OOC: These are song lyrics but I thought they'd make an excellent motto for the school or for some of the students. It's the chorus from Remember the Name by Fort Minor:

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

I think it's especially good for the science/tech/math based ones

Felicity: She landed around the group. "Don't be hard on him, he's already having a hard time with his powers."

Posey: She shot fire at the sand that had the poison on it, turning it to glass. "We can easily dispose of this now.

OOC: Ally and Shard already bottled it in glass bottles that Shard made from the sand (because her power is glass control; that's why she's called Shard)

OOC: Oh, okay, I didn't realize she made it out of the sand.

OOC: I'm starting to place Spencer's past together. Sort of. It's still in the planning phase, but I know what I'm going to do with it.

Spencer: He stood up from the ground. The poison had finally disappeared, leaving him with clean looking hands.

Candy: Candy walked over to a girl with frizzy red hair. She grinned, "Hi, I'm Candy."

Farfalla: Farfalla gave the girl a look. Farfalla said, "Um, hi there."

Candy: "So, that was a really crazy thing that just happened," Candy said, "You know."

Farfalla: "Yeah, but we're all trying to keep our powers in check," Farfalla said, "I am."

Candy: "I am too."

Farfalla: "I'm Farfalla." she said. "Farfalla Allison Luminescent."

Candy: "I'm Candy Mills." She smiled. "Pretty name."

Rocky: she ate some watermelon and blueberries before drinking from a bottle of water.

Marcella: "Yeah, some water girl watered down the poison and Shard made glass bottles, bottled it up and sealed it so no one's hurt."
Richard: "Where the kid that did it?"

Ally: "Huh. I never thought about it like that before," she admitted.

OOC: That's cool!
These ^^ responses are so lame but I'm so tired and couldn't think of anything else xD
