Amelia: she still wasn't totally used to all this yet, but wasn't quite as surprised as she might of been a while ago.

Rocky: She hadn't really thought much of other people with powers before she was forced to this school. The arm thing was pretty neat, but she couldn't wait for class to get started!

Julian Xavier: "Because it's the first day, we're going to play my version of the getting to know you game. I know its horrible but my teachers made me do it so I am making you do it. I'd like you to stand up and tell us 1. your name, 2. your power, which you may demonstrate if you wish but you don't have to, 3. something about you, 4. either something you'd like to learn in this class or your favorite author/poet/playwright, and 5. a book or play that you would like to read this year. Now, everybody has to do it because this is how I'm calling roll and if you don't do it you will be counted absent, and you know the skipping policy. We will start with Aaron, Amelia."

Amelia: she stood up. She was shy, but hoped it wouldn't show too much. "My name is Amelia, I can create ultrasonic screams(you probably saw that at breakfast), and I like to draw. My favorite author is Rick Riordan, and I would like to read The Fault in Our Stars this year." she sat down.

Jake: He sighed and stood. "I'm Jake. I can control the weather." He raised his hand, and a small cloud appeared. He slashed his hand through it and it dissolved. "I don't really have a favorite author, but if I had to pick one... probably Rick Riordan. I'd want to read something from the Heroes of Olympus series. Something about me... uh... I don't know. I don't exactly like my powers." He sat back down.
