AC Rouge YVR-HNL

Hello! Very excited to be heading to Aulani in a few weeks! Flying YYZ-YVR-HNL

First leg is Air Canada Business class (non-rouge)...then Premium Rouge on the YVR-HNL leg. We have never flown Rouge...any experiences/tales of woe to share from the Premium Rouge cabin?

Did you pick your seats? You may want to check your seat on seatguru.com In Premium Rouge I prefer not to be in the first row, or the last. First row, you wind up stowing your purse in the overhead bins and located close to the bathroom, typical of first rows. Last row, there’s only a curtain between you and Economy, and there can be a fair amount of traffic down that aisle.

Depending on the cabin crew, there may be some traffic from other passengers using the bathroom in Premium.

Premium Rouge is OK. I find the food OK. Wine a bit iffy. The onscreen entertainment is often quite dated, so you may want to load more recent entertainment on your devices before going.

We are in Row 3 which is not the first or the last which I guess is good

Good to know about the entertainment, we usually have a few movies on our own devices to watch!

Just off of Rouge this past Monday ...I found the movies not so current, I had seen most on PPV
What aircraft are you on? I was on a 767 and had friends in 12 HK who had more legroom than we did in 1 HK...

We are a 767 as well in row 3. A previous posted mentioned Row 1 has no leg room because of the bulkhead.

I can’t say I noticed any difference in the rows behind ...I was rather surprised
