AC Meet Sept 15--See post #7

Okay, so, I'm finally trying to get organized for our trip in 10 days. We decided last year to book a bounce-back free-dining trip upgraded to deluxe dining.

So, we spent a lot of time organizing where and when we wanted to eat, but, we didn't really plan ANYTHING else.

However, with the sad imminent demise of the Adventurer's Club we decided that re really must manage to get there. (We've tried before, but, ended up going home early because we were tired--definitely not night people here.)

So, we're looking at the nights of Sept 15th or 20th.

The 15th, we're getting up early and travelling, so, we might be tired. But, we aren't planning to get up early the next day, so, it's good that way. Plus, we have this idea that we might want to go twice, so, going early in our trip seems like a good idea.

The 20th, we may have a friend joining us (last minute decision on her part and may depend on her ability to find somewhere to sleep), so, it would be a fun night to go out. Plus, we're doing the 5:15 Spirit of Aloha (mostly because we've never done it) and it gets such bad reviews that we figure we'll want some other entertainment later.

So, would anyone like to join us at the AC on either of those nights? (Expectations of company might help get us there.)

Well, now that I live further getting out is tougher for me once I drive the DP home from work, but I do have tuesdays off and that helps if you go the 15th.

Normally I'm up at 4:00am to get ready for work

No, sorry.... Our cat is very sick and we've been debating whether we should come.

But, as of now, we are coming and we'd enjoy meeting up with people on the 15th. We have dinner reservations at Narcoossee's and our best guess is that we will get to AC around 10:30 (plus or minus half an hour).

Any advice on how to meet up? We stand out a little since we are two women traveling with a wheelchair.

I hate to be a party pooper but our ADR's are for 5pm. Not sure if we'll still be at the AC @ 10:30pm? Are you going to MNSSHP that week?

We'll be heading to the AC on the 15th. At this point, we don't seem to have much of a group together, but, we'd love to see anyone who can make it.

As I said, we anticipate getting there sometime between 10 and 11...realistically, if the buses run well we could be there earlier, but, we've rarely had good luck with DTD buses. If you're making a last minute decision to come, we'll be the two women with a wheelchair--although the chair might get parked once we're inside.

Thanks. The vet says that he can't get better and it's really a matter of how long he lives. So, we keep re-deciding what to do every 30 minutes or so. We're trying to guess at whether he's happy enough to live for a few weeks with a lot of cajoling to eat, or whether he's just telling us he loves us but feels crappy and we should end it for him. Argh!!! He's only three!

Yes, see that's us normally, and the reason we've never made it to the AC. We've tried to go there several times, but, always ran into what we assume were private parties because we'd get told they weren't opening until 9 or 9:30 and we couldn't imagine staying late enough to make that worthwhile.

But, this vacation we're determined to make it later into the evenings. We're planning to hit the AC on the 15th, MNSSHP on the 16th, the 9:30 HDDR on the 22nd, etc.

For Monday, the 15th, we will try our best to stay until at least 10pm.
I should be wearing my red WDW pin lanyard w/ a LMGH on it anchored by my Daisy pin.

Hi! Did you make it that night? We did not make it to AC until Wednesday. Got to order a Kungaloosh but did not make it into the Halloween show so we left.

We did make it to the AC, but, didn't get there until 10:30 (the first of many frustrating bus experiences for this trip). So, we'd probably have missed you regardless.

I assume they're rather crowded tonight.
