AC joint sprain

Ever had one or know somebody that had one? Since my worry is mostly google-based, I figured the best course of action was to turn to the Dis-doctors . SO. Is the urgent care doctor right and nothing beyond the 3 days of sling use needs to be done, or did I get a bad doc? I don't really know anyone that has had this type of injury, so I don't know if what the doc told me is standard.

I would try to see the orthopedic surgeon sooner if it were me. Is there another doc in the practice who can see you sooner?

It was my family doctor that couldn't get me in; the orthopedist would likely be able to grant me an emergency appointment if it were needed. I can't call until Monday, though.
