Hi there, I have a question regarding the AC in the Ariel rooms of the AoA.
Does anyone know if you can turn the AC off completely in those rooms? We have stayed at the All Star Music and there you can't turn them off completely. This is also the reason why we prefer the moderate resorts as you can turn of the AC during the night.

i had never even thought there would be places where you cant turn it off!! it makes me poorly

When we stayed 2009 for two nights at the All Star Music we could not turn off the ac. We asked a CM and she told us that only a technician can turn them off and then they would be turned off for your entire stay. But we only wanted to have the ac off during the night. But this was not possible. And so we had to choose between heating and cooling because there was no "keeping a normal level". And so we had the ac on cooling for the whole night. But not only was the cold temperature annoying me but also the noise the whole night long!

We were very happy when we could move to our prebooked moderate resort for the rest of our stay where we could turn the ac off for the night.

We also had that the year we stayed at one of the All Stars resorts. I opted to have it switched off for our entire stay and simply made use of the ceiling fan.

One of the plus points of the mods and deluxes is temperature control and the option to shut it off completely. I hate being cold! And even more than that, I hate any kind of breeze/fan blowing on me

we stayed at POP in february and october and had temperature control + complete AC shutdown on our 2 stays. Exactly the same AC unit we had at CBR (only exception being the ceiling fan at CBR)

I guess the old AC is limited to the older Values

I actually read that they changed them when they did the refurbs. We only stayed in a value once and that was back in 2009 so much has changed since then, so I'm not sure what the current situation is.
