That review has been posted throughout the Potter fandom and it is has been pretty much universally laughed at. What was the most amusing was that it mainly involves cannon vs theme park in a way that even the most die hard of Potter nerds find ridiculous.
Personally I am a self-confessed Potter nerd of pretty strong proportions. I can spout cannon like a preacher can spout the bible, down to reciting quidditch scores, Weasley birthdays and the uses of dragon's blood in healing potions. With that said, the last thing I even thought of doing was walking through the WWoHP and making a check list of what was not "perfectly in cannon". Yes, I may be a Potter nerd but I also have a life. Besides, it seems that some "fans" can't separate what is possible in reality to what is possible in imagination. The cannon world is a world of magic, the real world is limited by technology and some really do need to remember that.
The other argument over there being no costumed characters in the park also makes me laugh as that was not a Universal rule, that was a JKR rule and she was not bending on it. If the creator of the characters says no, then Universal is pretty much out of luck. Besides, most fans have stated they agree with JKR on it and would find it tacky and detrimental to the feel of the land. Harry doesn't sign autographs outside the Three Broomstick and he certainly isn't going to have a photo-op 25 feet away from Voldemort.
All in all, as someone who has not once walked out of one of the movies without immediately fuming over mistakes and cannon flubs, I didn't really have anything to complain about in the WWoHP. Sure, I could nitpick a few things if I really wanted to. But after waiting and dreaming of a place like this for so long, I'm much more content to enjoy shopping in Hogsmeade while sipping my butterbeer. The fact that the Mirror of Erised is too close to the One Eyed Witch, well, that's ok, the Fat Lady talked to me, so life is good.
