Absolute Quickest Way from MCO to AoA

Hi all-

My 9 year old daughter and I are flying into MCO in late August, staying at AoA. We land mid-afternoon. We have three park days, but this first arrival day counts as one so we want to be in a park as quickly as possible.

We will only have backpacks, because we are flying a low cost airline and not paying extra fees. No waiting for luggage.

What is the absolute quickest way for us to get to AoA from MCO? Car service? Uber/Lyft?

Or, would you recommend we go straight to the parks? I think it’s right that we could check our bags into a locker or something?

No lockers at parks for luggage. Your back pack will be searched at parks .
Using a uber/lyft would be quick.
Traveling is VERY rough these days. Weather will be a factor during the summer. Flights are getting changed with only hours in advance.

Rent a car from a company you have a loyalty card from, so you can go directly to the car. You then could leave the backpacks in the car.

Car service They would be waiting in the baggage claim area for you with the car nearby.

Car service, definitely. The car ad driver will be waiting and that is faster than renting a car or waiting for a cab or rideshare

Ugh I know! I’m trying to plan as best as possible for maximum fun, thinking if I do that then we’ll land at some reasonable level of fun. But I am worried about changes in our flights, since we’re flying a “brand new to our airport” airline without back up flight times if ours is cancelled. Of course I’d be fine if something happens to cancel our flight home….haha.

I’m thinking car service would be better than rideshare too, hoping that saving 9 minutes of waiting is one extra Spaceship Earth ride. . These are the margins I’m talking about!!

If you are in a race to get to Disney I would think a rental car is the best option and then you can leave you backpacks in the trunk since you apparently want to go directly to the park without checking in at your hotel. I think a much bigger issue could be airline delays which seem to be happening regularly. Even before all of the covid related travel issues, low cost airlines (you didn't say which one) tended to have fewer flights or don't even have daily departures from a given city. Your next flight might be 2-3 days away since they tend to not have any back-up planes available in the event of delays.

Your plan to race to Disney could likely go out the window if your plane never takes off that day.

Minnie Vans might be able to drop off directly at the MK and not.at the TTC. Save 15 minutes, maybe more.

Of course assumes MV will be running and servicing MCO.

Edited to add ultra low cost airlines charge for bin bags. The small backpacks that fit under the seat in front of you can be taken to the parks and should fit in a locker
