Absolute Earliest on MK EE day

Does anyone know when they open the gates at MK on EE days? Do they let people on Main Street prior? Are the stores open early or do they open right at the official opening time? I want to maximize our time at MK and I am definitely overplanning again....

I do not think they are opening much before the official opening time. So for Early entry day right about 8:00.

They didn't open the gates until the official opening time the last time we were there. On EE day it was 8am.
