Other than a military discount for tickets, where/what is the best place to purchase WDW tickets? I believe that there are various online areas to buy from? What about at WDW...any other type of discounts that are worth utilizing? THANKS! :flower:

We found the best prices to be with Ticketmania.com, through the Mousesavers newsletter...those prices were better than the military rate we could get through Shades of Green. Sorry, we can't post the prices from the newsletter, but if you don't already get it monthly, you can sign up to get it from:

What tickets were you looking at? I compared tickets with ticketmania and SOG and found SOG tickets where cheaper. I've found usually if you are close to a ITT/MWR office the tickets there are usually a little cheaper, now that was with park hopper not sure with MYW tickets.

Does www.ticketmania.com charge sales tax? I am looking to buy the 10 day hopper/plus ticket with expire and the prices are about 8 bucks more than Disney online. However, Disney charges sales tax and it appears as though ticketmania doesn ot so they would be about 10 bucks less overall. Comments? I really only need an 8 or 9 day pass, but they do not offer those in advance online...

I just ordered from Ticketmania today. No taxes were added to the price of my order. Shipping was free.

Ticketmania charges tax... it's just built into the price you see. It says that on their site.

CA Mom,

SOG is Shades of Green, the military hotel at WDW; ITT/MWR refers to the office/department on base at a military installation that would carry such tickets (don't ask me what the acronyms stand for, LOL! DH has been retired for a few years and I forgot! :sad2: ).

I saved $24 purchasing my tickets through Ticketmania through the Mousesaver newsletter link. Regular prices on TM are higher.
