AbracadaBar, shall I make it appear on my list?

Can anyone tell me about their recent trips to this libation station please? It is one of the many new additions since my last visit to WDW in 2015. Is the theming as cool as it looks on the videos and are the cocktails delicious enough/well made for the price & a walk from IG? TIA to all :flower3:

Their cocktails are simple. They're hoping to get permission from Disney to experiment with the cocktail menu and add some more creative things, but as it is there's nothing fancy. The famous conjerita is a standard lime margarita you can get anywhere that changes colors. It's well made- the sour assistant (a basic whiskey sour) was excellent- but if you want creative and innovative, head to Bluezoo.

Having said that, the theming is gorgeous and the bartenders are friendly. And the drinks were good. Just ordinary classics, though: I hope to see them do more.

I personally wasn't a fan of their house made sour mix that appeared in a few of their cocktails (ones we had included Sour Assistant and Collin's Double) is seemed overpowering and was unpleasantly bitter to me, especially in the Collin's Double. I LOVED the Pepper's Ghost and it's the sole reason we're visiting again before Flying Fish the day after tomorrow. The wife liked the sea shore sweet, but that was non alcoholic.

The theming is on point, really well done, posters of magicians on the wall change back and forth throughout the experience and there's a bunch of "artifacts" hanging on the walls.

Our server was kinda crappy to be honest.

The theming is cool - keep your eye on the posters on the wall! My DH is the liquor connoisseur in our family and he thought the cocktails were pretty awesome and quite unique compared to other offerings in WDW (he really liked the abysinthe cocktail). My DS9 really enjoyed it as they had some neat tricks they did with the kids drinks. Is it worth the walk from IG? I think if you are looking for a really unique cocktail - sure. The theming is quite subtle compared to a place like Trader Sam's (which I think knocked it out of the ballpark!). Personally, I preferred the cocktails at Nomad Lounge in AK (LOVED the fresh juices they use), but if you are into unique cocktails and great, but subtle theming - yes, go for it! My DH also really loved the offerings at the bar in Spice Road Table (they had some pretty unique liquors from the Middle East), so you may want to check that out as well.

Trader Sam's is literally my first planned stop upon our arrival as I have never gotten to go!! And I am also very excited to try Nomad's Lounge as I won't be dining at Tiffin's...I already decided I am getting the "Night Monkey" Thanks for the review :thumbsup2
