? about wireless

My IT husband unfortunately will have to check in with work while on vacation in dec. Is there wireless in the rooms? Is there a fee? Anyone use this down there??? We are staying at SSR. Thanks for the help.

It is wired in the rooms not wireless. Thus need an ethernet cord -- one is provided usually found in hall closet but you may want to bring an extra long one. DVC members are not charged. If you have something like the D-Link pocket wireless router you can set up the wired as a wireless.

Yes, we use a small travel sized D-Link router that you can find at most computer stores or online at Amazon, etc. They cost around $40-$50. Plug the ethernet cord into the router, plug the power cord into the outlet, and now your internet is wireless. Read your instructions to see how to make it a secure connection. Just search for the wireless signal and logon. I have the D-Link set up as one of my saved connections. We use 3 laptops in a 2BR villa with no problems.
